Admissions Process

There are two ways to make application to IBC: online or by paper file. The student needs to choose which way he/she prefers and then follow the procedures appropriate to that system.

Online Application Process

To make application online to IBC, the prospective student must complete the following steps before the semester deadlines:

STEP ONE: APPLY ONLINE

STEP TWO: APPLICATION FEE & OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
Application Fee: A $25.00 application fee is included with the application process. This can be paid by clicking here, or by check or money order made out to Indian Bible College. There is an additional $25 late fee for applications received after the appointed semester deadlines.

Official Transcripts: Transcripts from high school and all colleges attended must be mailed directly from the institution from which they originate to Indian Bible College, Admissions Office, PO Box 30880, Flagstaff, AZ 86003-0880. Transcripts cannot be hand carried or mailed from the student’s address.

STEP THREE: AUTOBIOGRAPHY & REFERENCES
Autobiography: The autobiography must include the applicant’s personal background, conversion, life experiences and how the applicant hopes to make use of the training obtained at IBC. The completed autobiography can be upload to the online application (POPULI).

References: Four references are required for a completed application: one from a pastor or missionary; and the other three from an employer, school staff, or a non-family friend who have known the individual for at least the past two years. Three references (including one from a pastor/missionary) are needed in order to process application for enrollment. References can be submitted and sent from the online application (POPULI).

Paper Application Process

REQUEST PAPER APPLICATION: To make application to IBC, the prospective student must submit the following documents to the IBC Admissions Office by the deadline:

Complete and submit an official application. The applicant must send or bring in a completed and signed application along with a recent picture.

Submit a $25.00 application fee with the application. This can be paid by clicking here, or by check or money order made out to Indian Bible College. There is an additional $25 late fee for applications received after the appointed semester deadlines.

STEP TWO: AUTOBIOGRAPHY & REFERENCES

Autobiography: The autobiography must be completed, signed and include the applicant’s personal background, conversion, and life experience. This should also state how the applicant hopes to make use of the training 0btained at IBC.

References: Four references are required for a completed application: one from a pastor or missionary; and the other three from an employer, school staff, or a non-family friend who have known the individual for at least the past two years. Three references (including one from a pastor/missionary) are needed in order to process application for enrollment. Individuals who complete a reference can mail references to Indian Bible College, PO BOX 30880, Flagstaff, AZ 86003.

STEP THREE: ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

Doctrinal statement: The applicant must certify agreement with the school doctrinal statement by reading and signing the form.

Financial payment policy form: The financial payment agreement form states the applicant understands that all costs for attending and living at IBC are the responsibility of the applicant.

References: Four references are required for a completed application: one from a pastor or missionary; and the other three from an employer, school staff, or a non-family friend who have known the individual for at least the past two years. Three references (including one from a pastor/missionary) are needed in order to process application for enrollment. Processing does not mean application is complete until all references are received.

Application Deadlines

Applications and accompanying documents should be received by August 1st for the fall semester and December 1st for the spring semester. Prospective students will be notified by mail of their acceptance or non-acceptance within 15 days of the completion of the application. Any applications accepted after these dates will be subject to a late fee as per the fee schedule (late applications may also be deferred to the following semester at the discretion of IBC and its leadership).

Nondiscrimination Policy

Indian Bible College does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, disability, age, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships and other school-administered programs except where required by specific religious tenets held by the institution. Additionally, since the foremost mission of Indian Bible College is the preparation of individuals for leadership in Native American Christian ministry, the school gives priority to Native Americans or to those whose focus or goal is to minister to Native Americans.
